Two Arguments About Teen and Social Media Being Negatived
Two Arguments About Teen and Social Media Being NegativedArguments are one of the most important parts of a research paper. The fact that your topic is an argument gives you the ability to go out on a limb, to reveal details, to explain things to the reader. With the ability to go on the attack you have the power to win a debate or set up an interesting argument to engage the reader's mind. However, research papers need to be able to argue well if they are to be accepted. There are two main argumentative research paper topics about teen and social media being negatived. One is that the system for tracking the use of social media by teens, including it as part of school life will not work. Another is that the student won't be able to participate in the discussion that the essay discusses. In this piece I will discuss the first topic. The first step in addressing the issue of the use of social media by teenage parents is that it is well documented that social networking has a profound im pact on teenagers. The idea that there will be no way to track the use of social media by their children is absurd. It is hard to believe that this will be any different than today's use of phones and laptops. Monitoring usage would mean that schools and parents could learn the exact times when teenagers took their own devices. It is likely that some schools are going to balk at the idea of monitoring digital use. For example, in one State school districts wanted to restrict the use of cell phones and laptops was on the agenda at the first meeting. In another state legislators thought it was a good idea to require all parents to join a cell phone or laptop monitoring service. So why do people believe that social media monitoring will not work? Many parents believe that there is no connection between their child's digital use and cyber bullying. Yet data from national statistics show that almost one in four students has experienced some form of cyber bullying in their lifetime. If teen s use social media to bully others then it is easy to see why parents worry about it.The challenge will be for the school to determine how to track the child's use of the digital device. In most cases the parent would need to be aware of the kid's internet activity to identify those sites that are being used for cyber bullying. Then the school can create a policy that all parents must sign that provides an easy way for parents to see the use of the digital device by their child.Another reason why argumentative research paper topics about teen and social media being negatied may be true is that, in recent times, parents have asked their teenager to use the social media to post messages and share photographs. This is where the problem starts. Parents cannot monitor every single picture and post and know what is actually on the device. A good example of this is that parents often need to be notified of the password changes or security updates. These are two argumentative research paper topics about teen and social media being negatied. There are other issues that require consideration. Therefore, the debate will continue. Perhaps there will be an outcome that will enable parents to use the school's systems for monitoring.
